Stage Requirements - Speaking Event
Sound

- Quality “in house” sound system
- CD player through sound system
- Wireless lapel or headset microphone
- Handheld microphone with stand for MC or introducer
- Experienced sound operator available 2 hours prior to event through the end of the event
Lights
See Lighting Document
- Stage lighting system – bright stage wash Preferred
- Stage lighting system – 2 light trees with 4 lights per tree
- 1 spotlight and operator (optional depending on event)
- Intimate, overhead lights (optional depending on event)
- Experienced operator available 2 hours prior to event through the end of the event
Stage
- 20’ wide x 16’ deep minimum stage platform – raised at least 18 inches
- Stairs from floor to stage at the front center of stage
- Round cocktail-style table with covering
- Black Velvet Back drop/curtain/pipe and drape running across the back edge of the stage.
- Stage set 3 feet from the back wall giving 3 feet of storage between back drop and back wall.(see diagram)
- Private dressing room / prop storage are close to stage
Preferred
- Exclusive access to stage area 2 hours prior to performance and 1 hour after.
- 2 people to keep audience off stage before and after performance
Other
- For Audiences over 350 Big Screen Projection (IMAG) is recommended
- Standard 6-8 foot table for merchandise and promotion materials
- 1-2 sales assistants to manage table from 1/2 hour prior to event though the end
- No plate clearing or food serving during presentation, please
- No open bar during presentation, please
IMPORTANT!!! Some of these requirements are negotiable.

- Experienced operator available 3 hours prior to event through the end of the event
Stage
- 20’ wide x 20 deep minimum stage platform - Raised at least 18 inches
- Dark Back Drop/curtain/pipe and drape running across the back edge of the stage.
- Exclusive access to stage area 3 hours prior to performance and 1 hour after.
No one allowed on stage or back stage before, during or after performance.
